WEST BROM –DRAW 1/5

Ipswich Town (24) v West Brom (5)

Since Paul Lambert’s arrival the Tractor Boys have shown signs of improvement with two successive draws but still remain rooted to the bottom of the division, the problem is they have only kept one clean sheet this season. The Baggies come to Portman Road on the back of an encouraging win over promotion rivals Derby which was their first win in five. I can not see Ipswich achieving their first home win this season tonight.

Saturday 24th November 2018

BTTS @ 4/5

Rotherham United (19) v Sheffield United (5)

This lunchtime South Yorkshire Derby sees the hosts boasting a terrific home record with just one defeat in fourteen whilst Sheffield United have lost their last two away. However the Blades have the local honour with only one defeat in thirteen head to heads.

BTTS @ 8/11

Hull (22) v Nottingham Forest (7)

Both teams are currently in the same form over the last five matches but Forest sit in a lofty seventh whilst the Tigers are still occupying the relegation places. The last five h2h have seen both teams score.

LEEDS @ 8/11

Leeds United (3) v Bristol City (13)

With only one win in the last twelve the Robins are looking down rather than up as their early season promise is fading into a new year relegation battle. Leeds however sit nicely in third and boast the 2nd best defensive record at home and have scored the most goals.

Millwall @ 4/7

Millwall (21) v Bolton (23)

An early season six pointer at the New Den where Millwall will be looking to pick up their fourth straight home win and they couldn’t have picked a better team to be up against,  the Trotters come into this match on the back of six defeats out of seven and recording only one win in thirteen.

BTTS @ 4/5

Preston North End (18) v Blackburn Rovers (9)

Both teams have been in similar form of late. Preston are unbeaten in seven and are edging away from the bottom but their Achilles heel is that they have conceded the most goals in the division. Blackburn have the 4th best away record in the division and sit just two points off the playoffs but in their last five matches they have also conceded

DERBY @ 21/20

Sheffield Wednesday (17) v Derby County (6)

Winless in five and only two wins in ten, Wednesday have slipped perilously close to the relegation zone and the natives are getting restless. Derby however, are riding high in sixth and are third in the form table but did however get thumped by Villa before the international break. I still think that Derby will be too strong for the struggling Owls.

UNDER 3.5 GOALS @ 2/7

Stoke City (14) v QPR (10)

QPR are on fire and second in the form table with five wins in seven and head to Stoke full of confidence and only two points off the playoff zone. Stoke City have the best squad on paper but have found life since relegation hard and languish in the bottom half, in the last five matches they have only scored and conceded two goals so don’t expect a goal fest.

OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 1/1

Swansea City (8) v Norwich City (1)

Two inform teams meet at the Liberty Stadium where the hosts will be hoping to break into the top six and make it three wins on the trot, at home they have scored at least two goals in their last four matches, they are up against league leaders Norwich who have been in stunning form in the last fifteen games and boast the best away form in the division, tasting defeat just once in nine matches and scoring for fun.

WIGAN DRAW @ 1/5

Wigan Athletic (16) v Reading (20)

The Latics have really faded after a very promising start to life back in the Championship and have picked up just ten points out of a possible thirty

With five defeats in last six matches, however, their home form is still impressive with just one defeat since March. It could be a great time to host Reading as they have won once away from home since February 2018.

BTTS @ 8/11

Brentford (15) v Middlesborough (2)

Whilst Brentford have tumbled down the league they still boast a good home record with just one league defeat this season, they entertain Middlesborough who lie second and are better on their travels, tasting defeat just once. This will be a tight affair and both teams to score looks tempting.

Sunday 25th November 2018

UNDER 2.5 GOALS  @ 4/5

Aston Villa (11) v Birmingham (12)

The Second City Derby is the big Sunday match with both teams inform and just goal difference separates them in the division. With this match producing under 2.5 goals in the last five h2h I am predicting a very tight affair.
